Iluka Mermaid Festival

The Iluka Mermaid Festival is a colourful and vibrant celebration of community, culture and sport. Iluka's treasured Mermaid sits proudly by Iluka Bay, overseeing passing life on the Clarence and is the name-sake for the festival. 

 

The Iluka mermaid has given rise to an inspiring two-week long festival program of events that reflects Iluka's strong connection with the river and ocean.

Through a program of culture, sport, arts and crafts, music, and food, the Iluka Mermaid Festival will be a vibrant celebration of all things Iluka, that is sure to appeal to residents and visitors alike.​

The festival is presented by Iluka Woombah Rotary Club, partnering with Iluka History Group and local organisations and businesses across the Clarence Valley.
